1. Health Messengers Association
The objective of the partnership is to develop joint harm-reduction programmes in the general population at risk - children, adolescents and youngsters. In 2003 it launched the Children against Drugs project with the support of the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Bucharest and of the NAA. The aim of the project was to make the video spot of the song "Wake up. You can do it (without drugs)", written and played by Dana Coteanu (known by her stage name Marijuana). Over the period 2005-2006, the Health Messengers Association started several school-based and community-based drug prevention activities for children and young people in Bucharest.

   2.International Educative Communities Federation in Romania (FICE)
The partnership aims to initiate and to train volunteers who will develop a range of activities of primary prevention, in schools and high schools following the "peer to peer education" principle. Since 1998, through several PHARE programs, FICE România implemented projects aiming at training young volunteers in the field. Additionally, FICE started several seminars and specialized training sessions in the field.

     3. Romanian Anti-Drug Association
The aim of the collaboration is to implement a pilot project regarding the setting up of a therapeutic community-like Residence Centre for drug users. The collaboration also includes professional training for specialists who will work in the tertiary prevention field. The Association was established in 1999 under the name "Association of the parents with drug dependent children". It has been contributing to the promotion of methadone programs, Sundays and Saturdays treatments and of the legislation in the field in the population of Bucharest. It also published several papers on methadone. Additionally, the Association intends to set up a model therapeutic community for relapse prevention.

4. Save the Children Organization
The objective of the partnership is to implement mutual programmes of drug use and abuse prevention, initial and ongoing professional training in addictions.Save the children organization conducted a study "Street Children and Drugs" in 2003, on a sample of 148 homeless children in Bucharest. Because it pointed out the existence of the use of tobacco, alcohol and organic solvents such as "glue" and of heroin among street children, the study alarmed the responsible authorities in the field of child protection and drug treatment. In 2005, Save the Children implemented and conducted in partnership with the NAA a drug prevention campaign among young people at the seaside. The summer campaign "The Sea - our only addiction" (July 25 - August 21, 2005) was carried out in the Black Sea resorts, upon the model of a drug prevention European project.

5. Office for Drug Studies and International Cooperation
The objective of the protocol is to carry out joint programs and actions to prevent drug use, join training courses, the inception and development of programs and projects for the evaluation, counseling, rehabilitation and reinsertion of drug abusers. The office was set up with the aim to develop anti-drug programs, in Romanian and abroad, based on protocols with the qualified state ministries and bodies. Thus, the international office was set up in New York and is currently working. Two other similar offices will be set up in London and Paris.
The ASICO had a major contribution to the formulation of the bill on drug testing, initiated by Codrin Stefanescu.

6. Anti-drug International Brigade
The protocol object is to develop joint programs and actions to prevent drug use among categories at risk and to implement treatment and rehabilitation programs for drug users. It also seeks to conduct and promote information-education-advocacy campaigns for the public audience on the danger of drug use. The Brigade is a partner of the NAA with which it formulated the Communication Agenda in the field of Drug Addiction, a premiere in Romania.

7. "Caritas România" Confederation
The partnership protocol seeks to create, organize and implement an initial training project for the professionals working in the field of drug use prevention and counseling and psychotherapy techniques used in the treatment of addictions. During four training modules, 22 professionals of the Drug Prevention, Evaluation and Counseling Centers and non-governmental organizations have been trained in drug use prevention.

8. "Jean Valjean" Association for Promoting Juvenile Justice
The objective of the protocol is to implement a pilot project regarding the prevention of juvenile delinquency, financed by "Terre des Hommes" and UNICEF-Romania. The project targeting primary prevention of drugs use and of juvenile delinquency addresses school dropouts aged between 12 and 16 in the 5th district in Bucharest, because this area is considered to have the highest level of school dropout, juvenile delinquency, drug use and drug trafficking in the capital.

9. Romanian Angel Appeal Foundation
The core of the partnership between the National Anti-Drug Agency and this Foundation is a joint pilot project called "LOT-Drug 2004-2005" aiming to prevent/reduce drug use among high school pupils in Bucharest and to raise their accountability and awareness towards active involvement in solving their specific age problems. The project is part of an initiative group addressing teenagers, which will develop over a three years` time in several European countries with the aim to reduce public health problems.

11. Community Health Foundation

20. Anti-drug Forum (FORAD)
The cooperation protocol between the NAA and the "Anti-drug Forum" (FORAD) aimed at developing anti-drug programs in Romania and abroad,  in country and abroad, in order to combat drugs trafficking and use. The two partner institutions are aiming to develop joint programs and actions for the prevention of drug, alcohol, tobacco use and other types of addiction among children, young people and adults, to start projects for the evaluation, counseling, treatment, rehabilitation and social reinsertion of drug users and to organize training courses for the specialists. In Regie student compound (Maxx disco), an anti-drug night was organized within the joint partnership with important guests from different fields.

21. "Bonus Pastor" Foundation
The partnership with "Bonus Pastor" Foundation seeks to develop joint programs or activities to prevent drug use, therapeutic programs for reducing the symptomatology of drug related disorders, to develop psycho-social rehabilitation and relapse prevention. Additionally, the partnership aims to organize training sessions for the drug prevention specialists that will take action in the local community.

22. Adolescent Association
The partnership was built targeting drug use prevention programs in schools and community, for adolescents. Therefore, the "Together with you" project has been developing since 2004 with the support of the UNICEF Representative Office Romania. It sought to provide information on drug use and HIV prevention through peer-to-peer counseling activities. The project has a two-pillar construction: individual training of peer counselors and networking.

23. Teen Challenge Romania

Teen Challenge România aims to meet the physical, spiritual, emotional, education and social needs of people with have difficulties in controlling their life. Emphasis is laid, however, on helping drug and alcohol users who have manifest wish to overcome their addiction. The object of the partnership is to develop Christian after-care therapeutic communities and develop prevention programs for young people in need. One of the programs Teen Challenge Romanian conducted is "Social café" where the drug addict is warmly welcomed and where mutual knowledge begins; it is the place where bonding is possible.
